Dalton Insurance Agency wants every visitor, including seniors and people using assistive technology, to be able to read, navigate, and use this website comfortably.
What we aim for
This site is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. In practice that includes semantic headings on every page, descriptive link text, sufficient color contrast, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, labels on every interactive element, alternative text for meaningful images, and layouts that work at large text sizes and on small screens.
How we test
Pages are checked with keyboard-only navigation, automated contrast and landmark audits, and mobile screen sizes before publishing. Because Medicare content changes every year, updated pages go through the same checks when figures and plan details are refreshed. The site avoids autoplaying media, flashing content, and time-limited interactions entirely.
Known limitations
Our appointment calendar and contact forms are embedded from our scheduling provider. If any embedded tool gives you trouble with a screen reader or keyboard, you can do everything it does by phone instead.
